CURRENT ADULT BIBLE CLASSES

  • The Good and Beautiful God -  Most of us think we know God and how he works in our lives, some don’t know God at all.  However, do we really know The God Jesus knew?  Jesus revealed God to us through His words and actions.  In this study we will examine the God that Jesus knew, improve our understanding of Him and enhance our spiritual relationship with God.

    The Kings Men     - A look at the Biblical and historical profiles of the men who served as the apostles of Christ.  We will examine evidence of in-depth character profiles of these chosen men of God who were led by the Spirit to establish the Kingdom after the ascension of Jesus Christ.

    Christian Living In A Word     - Goodness, kindness, loyalty, love, grace, mercy.  In the Old Testament, one Hebrew world describes all of these character traits.  That word is “hesed.”  Hesed describes the character of God, and God’s covenant expectations for God’s people.  An ancient Rabbi once wrote, “The Torah begins with hesed and ends with hesed.”  In a Jewish understanding this means that all of God’s law is characterized by this one world.  It sums up the vision for the faithful and obedient life of God’s people.  Come join us as we explore how this ancient world can help us live as disciples of Christ in the 21st century.

    Moneywise    - We can’t get away from dealing with money at any age.  In this class, which is geared toward the younger wage earner, we are going to talk about what God thinks about money,  the power of money, developing a spending plan, caveat emptor, saving, debt and a few other topics.  We want those who are about to enter and those new in the workforce to begin with some solid financial principles.
