Southside utilizes a ministry team model where service to the Southside family is a collaborative effort. The model strives to honor the individual gifts, passions, and experiences of each minister, while at the same time ensuring all the different areas of responsibilities are covered. Within the ministry team each minister has at least one primary area of responsibility (e.g., children, teenagers, college, adult, administration, worship) but ministers "cross-pollinate" among these areas whenever gifts or experience or passion allows or whenever necessity requires.
