Understanding that the Holy Spirit leads all efforts to spread Christ’s Gospel, Southside Church of Christ World Missions seeks to partner with missionaries around the world to connect people with saving faith in Christ and to prepare and engage Southside members in evangelism, service, charity, and stewardship.

Southside has supported the Biblijski institut since 1998, when Tom and Sandra Sibley moved to Zagreb to work at the school.
In 2017 and 2018, our youth spent part of their summers working at Champs Camp and with local teens.
Champs Camp is a summer day camp for elementary school-age children from neighborhoods around the city. Held over two weeks each June, both at the Zagreb church/institute building at a large city park at Jarun Lake, Champs Camp serves 100-130 children each summer.
In 2017, Southside started supporting Steve Taliaferro. He works with the Neŝto Viŝe, a ministry focused on reaching the youth of Zagreb.

Since 1985, Southside has supported evangelism in Chile. This work has grown from breaking new ground to covering all of Chile from the far north (Arica) to the south (Puerto Montt).
Our partners serve not only their local congregations but also travel extensively throughout Chile to help other ministers at churches across the country.
The Chilean people have a hunger for the word of God. They spend a lot of time in fellowship centered around Bible study.

Former Southside members Bryce and Mary Beth Noblitt moved their family to Kijabe, Kenya, in the fall of 2022. Bryce is an Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon and initially was part of a Post-Residency Program through Samaritan’s Purse, at Kijabe Hospital. This is a two-year program that takes physicians right out of residency and puts them on the mission field.
Now that the PRP is over, the Noblitts have transitioned to a long-term sending agency, Christian Health Service Corps, a community of Christian doctors, health professionals, and health educators committed to serving the poor in places that have little or no access to healthcare.
